About

Eating out with friends, without the awkward bits

The best nights out start with a group chat that goes nowhere and end with someone doing sums on the back of the bill. Somebody always pays for the wine they didn’t drink. Somebody forgets to pay back. Somebody’s walk home is longer than everyone else’s.

Outzu puts the whole evening in one place: decide together, split fairly, pay back easily, and make sure everyone gets home. The parts that matter are free, and we never touch your money.

What we believe

• Fair beats even. Pay for what you had, to the penny.
• Your money is yours. You pay friends directly; we never hold it or take a cut.
• Privacy is the default. Location only when you ask for it; your home stays private.
• Clear about how we earn. We make money from an optional Pro plan and from restaurants, through their plan and spots in search that are always labelled Sponsored. Never by selling your data, and nobody can pay to win a vote.
